Bottled Art
The Hosomi Private Collection consists of works collected by the late Osaka industrialist, Hosomi Ryo. Currently in its fourth generation, the collection includes virtually all branches of Japanese art, making the Hosomi collection perhaps the most remarkable in the world of Japanese Antique Art.

The Tale of Genji Scroll is vibrantly detailed and colorful. Drawn in the style of Tosa School, it was a favorite of the Japanese imperial court in the early Edo period of the 17th century.

Legacy of Folding Screens
